A great stop on any bike tour with a large outdoor area right on the water. You can sit together in large groups but also be alone. Everyone can find a spot here, even when the weather is nice on a busy Sunday afternoon. There is no table service outside. You get drinks and food directly at the counter, which works well because you don't have to wait long.I can't say what it's like/looks like inside and therefore can't judge it.

Is a must on a bike tour through the Teufelsmmor. The farm has been around since 1792. To this day, the business operates without electricity, so there is a smaller selection of drinks and food, but at a reasonable price. You can sit there beautifully (covered, on swings, loungers) and look at the Hamme and really relax.

I only gave the food and service three stars because there is no electricity at Melchior Hütte and there was only bratwurst. But it was very tasty. It's mostly self-service so only three points for service. Otherwise, a fantastically beautiful place and actually deserves ten points.

A great place to visit on a Sunday afternoon during my trip from England. Friendly people, excellent beer and wonderful views of the river.

Best location. In the middle of nature and directly on the Hamme. Easily accessible by boat, bike, car or on foot. Best beer garden. Nice host. Very popular and an absolute secret tip for outsiders.

A wonderfully beautifully located excursion destination right on the Hamme!! It's a wonderful place!! Here at the hut or Hamme you can relax and enjoy a few snacks. There are delicious grilled sausages and a well-chilled cold drink!! Coffee and cake fans will also get their money's worth here!! What is remarkable is that MELCHER'S HUT HAS NO ELECTRICITY!!! And that's intentional!!

Melchers Hütte is a place of power that must be experienced in every season. The indoor and outdoor areas are lovingly designed, friendly staff, numerous seats (outside) and comfortable swings on which you can really unwind (even as a couple). Physical well-being is also always taken care of - within the scope of possibilities without electricity - (self-service). The bratwurst and the moor beer are highly recommended. There is a large bicycle parking lot with a repair station so that no one runs out of steam. There are a few parking spaces for cars. Melchers Hütte is a popular meeting place for cyclists from the Osterholz-Scharmbeck area, and not just on weekends. But you also meet visitors again and again, e.g. B. from Bremen who visit the special place. Tip: If you want peace and quiet, you shouldn't go there during peak hours during opening hours. My appeal to smokers: Please - like me - use the numerous ashtrays available and don't just throw the butts onto our beautiful earth.Under no circumstances should you forget a short detour to the Hammebrücke, which is just a few minutes' walk away, because your heart will open there when you look around.“Carpe diem” at Melcher’s Hut!
